I don’t know about you, but I typically don’t want burgers or pizza to be my only option late at night. Living in the Pacific Northwest it’s frustrating when I want a good meal after 10 pm. I search on my phone for a restaurant that is open late near me and typically the only places still open are the fast food establishments.
It seems that over the past few years, more restaurants are closing earlier. This brings me to my discovery. El Rinconsito serves up authentic, Mexican dishes until 3 am on Fridays and Saturdays. I now have my “go-to” spot for late-night dining. No more, munching on endless fast food, I now have great options for late-night fare.
My favorite plate at El Rinconsito is 5 tacos and a drink. You can pick from a variety of different meats. I love the carne asada. This is real food not like the other places. Whether you’re looking for hearty tacos or prefer a healthy vegetarian burrito, El Rinconsito has got the spread. Every time I swing by for a late-night meal, the restaurant is filled with happy customers. You smell the kitchen the moment you walk in the door. Every one of their locations has a person preparing homemade tortillas.
If you want a taco full of flavor, you’ve got to try the “El Pastor” tacos where they cut the meat right off the rotating spit. This slow-cooked meat is so good. (Not all locations offer this variety of El Pastor tacos) Late-night dining has been revolutionized. No more eating microwaved burritos from your local gas station. This is the real deal. Late-night dining for the whole family.
I’ve read a lot of reviews that were pure hype. The stellar reviews at El Rinconsito are for real. Their team works hard to make everyone feel welcome and special. They take your meal to your table and check in to see if you have any other needs. Visit one of their 16 locations and see it for yourself. Yelp reviewers have been raving about the good eats and the festive atmosphere at El Rinconsito for years.
Their menu is a treasure trove of great Mexican recipes that have long been our favorites. Click on the link below to explore their expansive menu. I try different things on my visits and I am surprised by the variety of good, authentic, and affordable offerings. You can order by downloading their app, calling in a take-out order, or dining in. The next time you’re hungry at midnight, remember, that you still have 3 hours to pick up some good, authentic, affordable Mexican cuisine at El Rinconsito. They have been serving up great food since 1997. Restaurants open late near me? Yep, El Riconsito.
